Use Bleach
Bleach helps to kill mold and its allergens. For added efficiency, mix with borax.
(It only works for white clothing because bleach fades colors.)
How to Use Bleach to Wash Your Clothes
When using your washing machine, make sure to add a cup of bleach into your washing machine.
When hand washing your clothes, make sure to take a bowl of hot water and mix a cup of bleach. Before rinsing with a detergent, let the solution soak for a few hours.
Use Hydrogen Peroxide
An application of 3 % hydrogen peroxide is effective at removing surface mold. Just spray it, leave it on for 10 minutes, and wait for it to stop fizzing.
